TS: I hate putting labels on bands, but for those who haven't heard your music, could you describe it for us?
TH: It's like listening to a Julie Andrews record backwards...while dropping acid; or you might think gothic nursery rhymes.
TS: From what I have read you have a very interesting live show. Do you all contribute equally to this or is there a single mastermind behind this aspect of the band?
TH: We all contribute in our own special way. Bethany the Barracuda signs the songs in American Sign Language. Adrienne the Anemone sings with puppets. Khattie the Katfish never fails to deliver the best facial and vocal expressions.
TS: How well do you go over in Austin?

TS: How do you think you have progressed since your
first recording?
TH: We have learned to play more as a band rather than 3 soloists. We feel like our sounds get better and better.
TS: What direction do you see the band moving toward for the next album?
TH: More intricate arrangements in our song-writing will definitely be noticed on our next album.
TS: What's next for the band?
TH: LOTS OF TOURING, recording, conquering the UK and Europe...you name it, we're gonna DO IT.

TH: There are a lot of open-minded people in Austin and we do have a following here in our town.
TS: Do you have a lot of men frequent the shows?
TH: Yes. More than one might think.

TS: How did the band come together?
TH: Adrienne the Anemone started performing solo while she was in high school...and one day, she asked her sister, Bethany the Barracuda, if she wouldn't mind sitting in on a few songs with her. Well, that was just the beginning... Khattie joined in later after frequenting (stalking) our shows and asking (demanding) if she could join our troupe.
TS: What are your musical backgrounds?
TH: Bethany and Adrienne learned to sing in church

and on long family trips in the car. They have been playing their instruments for many years. Khattie's influences include her father, Elvis, and "the Lord".
TS: How did you guys get signed to Web of Mimicry?
TH: During SXSW 2004, Trey Spruance (Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3), the owner of the MimiCry label, made a
special appearance at one of our worst shows EVER --Adrienne had lost her voice, and Bethany was sick, leaving Khattie in charge of lead-singer responsibilities. Needless to say, he was quite intrigued and wrote a 6-page e-mail when he returned home saying that "we were witches and cast a spell on him." He loved our first album, and he wanted to produce our second.
