TS: What have you been listening to lately?
KB: Lately I've been listening to our new album "(A) Senile Animal". We just finished it and between the time we get records done and the time they actually come out is about the only time I CAN actually listen to something I've recorded. By the time it hits the streets I'm over it pretty much in that I can't stand to hear it. Listening to your own music is really creepy. Other records I've been listening to are: The James Gang, Ed Hall, The Fugs, The Seeds, Bob Dylan, Kill Me Tomorrow, The Dicks, War, Buck Owens and ZZ Top.
TS: What, in your opinion, is wrong with the world today?
KB: Nothing.
TS: Will there ever be a follow up to "Millennium Monsterwork?"

TS: Do you enjoy being signed to Ipecac Recordings?
KB: Sure. Ipecac is a great label to be on. We support them and they support us.
TS: How do you like your coffee?
KB: Just like I like my women, strong and black.
TS: Jedi or Superhero?
KB: What's the dif?

KB: Doubtful. I'd be surprised if we ever did any other shows with the Big Band. Mikes busy doing who knows what and Lombardo is off in the evil land of Slayer. 666 baby and all that other horse shit. Who cares?
TS: Does the new CD have a title yet?
KB: "(A) Senile Animal"
TS: Who are some of your favorite movie directors and authors?
KB: My all time favorite director is John Huston with David Lean and John Waters taking a close second. I also really dig Fassbinder, David Lynch, John Ford and Orsen Wells. My all time favorite author is Flannery O'Connor. I also love James Dickey, Jack Black, John Fante, James Leo Herlihy, John Kennedy Toole, Joseph Heller, James Ellroy, and Allen Macdonell.

TS: What's your main guitar you like to use for recording and live performances?
KB: I use a wide variety of guitars for recording but stick mainly to Les Pauls for live. On the (A) Senile Animal recording I used a Les Paul a Silver Tone a Telecaster a Mustang and an SG.
TS: Where's your favorite place to play at live?
KB: You never know. We have a huge tour planned for the fall and I'm sure I will have a lot of favorite places to play on that trip. Austin's always fun as is Athens, Georgia.
TS: Do you use Pro Tools for recording?
KB: We will use anything.
TS: How would you rate Trevor Dunn's bass skills on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best)?
KB: A 10 I guess.. Well, I'd give him a 9.
